How To Get Your Home Ready For Spring

How To Get Your Home Ready For Spring

1. Update the colour palette in your living room

This doesn’t mean overhauling your entire colour scheme, but if you chose a bold red as your homeware colour accents in winter, why not update your throws and cushions with pastels or cooler colours to inject some of those light, spring vibes again? If you have a neutral home already then updating the accent colour is a simple way to bring some Spring into your home.

2. Change the colour of your bedding

Winter usually calls for a cozy bed to snuggle down in, equipped with cushions and heavy-knit throws. As we head into Spring, try changing the style of your bedding to refresh your room quickly, or integrate the 2018 home floral trend and try floral patterns. You can still always accent bedding with a throw, but aim for cooler colours.

3. Add some flowers and foliage to your home

An easy way to spruce up your home is by bringing the outdoors in, and adding flowers or some greenery and foliage to rooms. Teaming this with an eye-catching vase can freshen up any room and bring it to life again.

4. Spring clean and rearrange

Lastly, and perhaps the most obvious part of getting your home ready for Spring is the inevitable “Spring Clean”. Of course this doesn’t always mean an intense deep clean, instead, it can simply mean decluttering and rearranging your furniture in order to give a room a new lease on life.
