Ordering Furniture  
How do I place an order?

Once you have selected your furniture, please either visit your nearest Alan Ward stockist, or phone / e-mail the details.

If you have any special instructions or important information about access to your property, for example, please tell us. We will also ask you to confirm that you have sufficient access and space for the items you want to purchase.

You will then be asked to choose your preferred payment method – credit or debit card or cheque. Once your order is complete we will confirm the information you have given us. At this stage you will have the chance to make any changes to your selected furniture, delivery address and payment details.

An email confirmation of your order, or letter, will sent to you confirming your Alan Ward order number and delivery details with all the contact numbers you need.

Can I make changes to my order?

If you want to make any changes to your order, contact the store concerned during opening hours, or use the Contact Us e-mail facility on this website.

We can only accept cancellations if submitted in writing, or in person, within three working days from the order date and providing that the order has not been put in progress by the supplier. In exceptional circumstances we may allow cancellations after three working days and in these circumstances we will retain a percentage of the order value.

Changing an order may cause a delay with your delivery time and may alter the price you have been quoted.

How do I measure properly?

It is important to check that your furniture will go into your room before placing your order. To avoid disappointment, please refer to our Online Measuring Guide for assistance.

Do you have a catalogue?

We will be happy to send you our latest store brochure.

Can you tell me the availability of a specific item?

Before you select a product check to see if it is ‘in stock’. Items not in stock will take longer to deliver. Please be aware that this information changes daily. Alan Ward cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control. We will inform you as soon as we become aware of any changes in the time original given when you placed your order.

Where is my order?

If you wish to check the delivery of your order, please call our Distribution Centre on 0845 600 900 3, 9am - 4.30pm Monday to Saturday, who we will advise you on its progress.

What if my order is late?

You should have been given an estimated delivery time. If it changes, we will let you know straight away. While Alan Ward cannot be held liable for any delays which are beyond our control, we will make every effort to keep you informed. If you have any delivery problems, please e-mail us or call 0845 600 900 3 between 9am - 4.30pm Monday to Saturday.
